Kids delight in this friendly museum filled with interactive exhibits designed to foster curiosity. Archaeologists-to-be will revel in the Archaeological Dig, where they can search for Cahuilla Indian artifact replicas. The regular exhibits are augmented with traveling shows. Children can dress up, work with scientific equipment, explore teamwork and generally have a terrific time exploring more than 50 hands-on exhibits and activities. Children under two are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times; no strollers are permitted in the exhibition gallery.
